Faux Fur Coat

Faux fur hats are one of the newest accessories in the faux fur product line to seemingly take off in recent years.  Made popular in Russia, the fur hat has been worn for many years as a means of braving the rough Russian winter.

Times have changed, and the well being of animals is at the forefront of our minds.  Going with faux fur, we can responsibly wear a beautiful piece of clothing while doing to harm to our planet’s treasured wildlife.

If you’re looking for faux fur hats, you’ll be overwhelmed with the enormous selection of possibilities at bay.  You’ll be happy to know that many of them are priced competitively, and it isn’t at all uncommon to find a faux fur hat for less than $20 per hat.  Let’s take a look at a few popular varieties of these hats.

The first style that we’ll look at is the faux fur trapper hat.  These are the winter hats that you’ve often seen with the ear flaps, engineered for maximum insulation from the cold.  While there are a bunch of these with real fur, there’s no need for it in this case, thanks to a handful of faux fur trapper hats.  One made by American Eagle Outfitters might be a good starting point.  On the plus side, their hats are fitted, stylish, and they look great.  You’ll also be pleased with the very reasonable price tag on these faux fur hats, as they sell for just $29.50 each.  A word of warning though:  these don’t do so well in the rain, and you should be prepared to have a wet head if that’s the case.  Since they’ll be worn in winter (a time of snow) anyway, this may not be much of an issue to begin with.

Next on our list is a faux fur bomber hat, and we’ll look at one made by Eddie Bauer.  With its signature ear flaps, a retro look, and quite a few colors to choose from (including a great black and white plaid pattern), the faux fur inner lining will keep you warm on those cold, windy days, and you’ll look great in the process.  At $39.50 per hat, it’s slightly more expensive than the American Eagle Outfitters faux fur hats.  We say it’s nicer though.

Finally, we’re going to look at one of the many faux fur hats for women.  The Jessica Simpson faux fur hat comes in a solid black faux fur with grey lining inside.  A one size fits all hat that’s designed by Jessica Simpson, the $28 price point is very reasonable.

The last of the fake fur hats that we’ll look at is the ladies black faux fur tropper hat.  Made of nylon, this might give you the best protection from rain and other precipitation as a result.  If you’re into the idea of subtracting some style points for functionality, this might be the one for you.  The price tag of $18 per hat isn’t too shabby either.
